Join us for Festa Ħaddiema (Workers’ Fest) on Thursday 1st May, International Workers’ Day, between 15:00 and 19:00 at the Council of Europe Garden in Gzira to remember the many workers’ struggles and achievements throughout history and to show solidarity with workers in Malta and around the world.
There will be socio-political activities and music performances by

Solidarjetà will be facilitating a workshop about organising workers at the workplace.
Sammy Meilak, a veteran dockyard worker and shop steward for many years and Dawn Sammut, a mechanical engineer and activist, will be sharing their experiences about work, workers and workplaces.
We invite you to join us and to get some food and drinks to share and a cushion to sit on. Come and bring your friends to celebrate and to express your solidarity with workers.
